The 3 Musketeers

Alrighty, looks like we're all in...what do you think about inviting our other sister nULLs...? And like Annabelle says its a life change not a competition. Good "friendly" support never hurt...plus hot bodies in proportional bikinis at the beach (even if they are SUPER white).

I've been ok about my eating, if its only been a few days. There's a saying "poco-a-poco" little-by-little.

I know I need to find serving (calories)/amounts for the foods I eat most regularly. Also, finding and preparing and sharing more varied recipes can't hurt the taste buds. Annabelle that spinach Indian good is spicy!

Anyone else interested in posting their daily intake? Out of us 3, I know I have the most free time, so Ill post and you all can read and laugh...or not

Monday Mocca gets her stiches out so back to more walks and maybe some running (cough...jogging).

Im off to work...be good. eat healthy.

  1. That sounds good to me. I have just managed to piece together my version of a low calorie, healthy menu for the next. A lot of new recipes, so I will try them out and let you know how they work. Going to see how it works with me cooking every two/three days and putting meals in the gladware and eating on the cooking for a couple days then cook again. It sounds good in theory, but it will only help if I manage to keep it up.

Oh and I've started running with a friend of mine that leaves for bootcamp the middle of next month, let's leave it as I am definately not in the shape I wish I was in. But baby steps. Looking forward to that beach body.

  3. Posting "daily intakes" sounds like a good idea. How about we start on Monday??

Eme, if you don't know how much a serving size is, the rule of thumb is for meats - the size of a deck of cards and for other mushy things it's the size of a tennis ball.

And something that I've found to help when I get hungry - eat some fruit. It's amazing that something like a huge grapefruit has about 60-70 calories, and those things are friggin huge! Also, apples are great because all the fiber will make you feel full.

With all this eating healthy, don't forget to try and have some calcium in your day. Women lose bone density much quicker than guys, so it's really important to try and find some calcium. And calcium needs vitamin D to work, so that OJ with calcium and vitamin D is fantastic if you don't like milk like me :)
